Bin bags, trash bags, garbage bags, or bin liners are disposable bags used to contain garbage, trash, or rubbish. This article is a comparison of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (carbon footprints) of various bin bag products. The bin bags listed in WikiFootprints have GHG emissions ranging from 0.026 to 0.137 kg carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) per bag.[1]
